In the previous post, I covered the “server not found” error that is a common and frustrating problem that may occur for a number of reasons after a configuration change, or when deploying a new server machine. Another common “what the hell just happened” error is the plain 503 “service available” error. In this post we'll look at why this error happens, and how to fix it.
I've tried to installed sql server 2005 developer edition on windows vista but failed many times, almost giving up.
I've turned on all the features of IIS 7.0 but it still failed and I tried to test IIS with running the local host and received this error of HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error.
I really appreciate any comments and help.
Here are the error messages:

• IIS Feature Requirement
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is either not installed or is disabled. IIS is required by some SQL Server features. Without IIS, some SQL Server features will not be available for installation. To install all SQL Server features, install IIS from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel or enable the IIS service through the Control Panel if it is already installed, and then run SQL Server Setup again.
