PHP / FastCGI Technical Preview is Live!

If you haven't seen this yet, check it out - today we released the FastCGI Technical Preview intended to significantly improve the performance of CGI applications like PHP. It is available for IIS 5.x, IIS 6, and IIS7!

At the same time, we announced our collaboration with Zend, the creators of PHP, to produce a build of PHP that is optimized for Windows, addressing the many performance issues that the PHP engine has had in the past when running on Windows.

This is also now available for download from Zend.

We created new forums to discuss the FastCGI components, and running PHP on IIS.

Zend Core For Windows Technical Preview

Zend, the creator of PHP, has just announced a new technical preview of PHP optimized for Windows, as part of the collaboration between Microsoft and Zend to improve performance and stability of PHP on the Windows platform.
