&lt;p&gt;You should have some class in your samplepage.cs which derives from Microsoft.Web.Management.Client.Win32.ModulePage or System.Windows.Forms.Form. Can you verify that? &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What am I missing here?&lt;/p&gt;
