IIS7 is a significant upgrade of the web server. In this blog, I talked about a couple of upgrade scenarios from Windows Server 2003 to IIS7 on Windows Server 2008. But there is no ability to run IIS7 itself on Windows Server 2003. IIS7 only runs on Windows Server 2008.

Thanks,
