FTP7 Server GoLive, Available for Download Now!

We have made our GoLive version of our FTP7 server available for download today! Downloads are available at http://www.iis.net/downloads/default.aspx?tabid=34&i=1526&g=6 (x86) and http://www.iis.net/downloads/default.aspx?tabid=34&i=1527&g=6 (x64). If you haven't tried it yet, check it out. Our new, rebuilt from the ground up FTP server has features like FTP over SSL (FTPS), authentication using non-Windows user accounts, integrated HTTP/FTP Sites, and IIS 7 configuration support among other features. One note: FTP7 GoLive is dependent on Windows Server 2008 RC0, so make sure to get that installed first.

   Unfortunately, the FTP server is not going to be included in the box for Windows Server 2008. It will be available as a free download on Windows Server 2008 launch on Feb 27 2008 from IIS.Net. We didn't have time to get the FTP server done in time to ship as part of the operating system, but we are building it as a separate download to be integrated into the IIS7 as a module.
